Cosmetic Dermatology

Fillers help to diminish facial lines (wrinkles) and restore volume and fullness in the skin of the face. As we age, our face naturally loses subcutaneous fat, which is found underneath the skin and between facial muscle. The facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile lines and crow’s feet become more apparent. The facial skin also stretches a bit, adding to this loss of facial volume. Other factors that affect the facial skin include sun exposure, heredity, and lifestyle.

Dermal fillers can be used to:
-Plump thin lips
-Enhance shallow contours
-Soften facial creases and wrinkles
-Improve the appearance of recessed scars
-Improve deep nasolabial folds

Dermal fillers can be very helpful in those with early signs of aging, or as a value-added part of facial rejuvenation surgery.

We only use the best available fillers approved by the United States FDA:
Belotero® Balance
Restylane® and Perlane™

And many more!

What are the side effects of using Derma Fillers?
Side effects are subject to the one performing the procedure. Wrong use of dermal fillers may cause unintended bulging and scarring. Our physicians are renowned national and internationally as dermal filler trainers (link). Dermal fillers are safe, but minor side effects such as temporary numbness, redness and swelling can happen, but will generally resolve after 24 hours.

How long does Derma Fillers last?
Results generally last around 6 to 12 months, depending on the filler, technique and area treated. The more treatments you have, the longer the results will last.
